Conference Venue

The Henry Ford Building, built by architects Franz Heinrich Sobotka and Gustav Müller between 1952 and 1954, is located at the intersection of Garystrasse and Boltzmannstrasse, near the Freie Universität/Thielplatz subway station in southwest Berlin.

The western wing of the Henry Ford Building houses the university library, with reading rooms, offices, and an adjoining book tower. The eastern part houses lecture halls and conference rooms. The listed building was extensively renovated between 2005 and 2007. Today, it serves not only as a lecture hall but also as a conference center.
